Connect YouTube
Connecting YouTube lets you upload and schedule your videos right from Sosyabot.
Before you start
- A Google account that already has a YouTube channel.
Step by step
Open Channels
Go to Channels in Sosyabot.
Add a channel
Click Add channel, then pick YouTube from the list.
Sign in to Google
A Google pop-up opens. Sign in with the account that has your YouTube channel.
Approve in the pop-up
Click Allow to let Sosyabot post for you. The pop-up closes by itself.
You're connected
Your YouTube channel now shows up in your channel list, ready to use.
Good to know
- You can upload and schedule videos to your channel.
- If your Google account has more than one YouTube channel, Sosyabot adds each one separately.
- There is a daily limit on how many videos you can upload through connected apps. If you upload a lot in one day, you may need to wait until the next day.
If it doesn't connect
- Make sure you signed in with the Google account that actually owns the channel.
- On the Allow screen, leave every box checked. If you skip one, posting may not work.
- If your channel later says it needs reconnecting, just run these steps again to fix it.
