Connect Threads
Connecting Threads lets you write and publish posts to Threads straight from Sosyabot.
Before you start
- A Threads account (it's tied to your Instagram account, so make sure you can sign in to that too).
Step by step
Open Channels
Go to Channels in Sosyabot, then click Add channel.
Pick Threads
Choose Threads from the list of platforms.
Click Connect
Click Connect. A pop-up window from Threads will open.
Approve in the pop-up
Sign in to Threads if asked, then tap Allow to let Sosyabot post for you.
You're done
The pop-up closes and your Threads channel shows up in Sosyabot, ready to use.
Good to know
- You can write and publish text posts to Threads from Sosyabot.
- Once connected, Sosyabot keeps your account signed in for you, so you don't have to reconnect often.
If it doesn't connect
- Make sure you can sign in to the Instagram account linked to your Threads.
- If the pop-up was blocked, allow pop-ups for Sosyabot in your browser and try again.
- If your channel later asks you to reconnect, just run these steps again.
