Connect X (Twitter)
Link your X (Twitter) account so you can write and publish posts straight from Sosyabot.
Before you start
- You need an X (Twitter) account that you can log into.
Advanced: cookie login
There is also a cookie login option for accounts you control directly. Most people don't need this. If you do, our support team can walk you through it.
Step by step
Open Channels
Go to Channels in Sosyabot.
Add a channel
Click Add channel and choose X (Twitter).
Connect
Click Connect. A pop-up from X (Twitter) opens.
Approve
Log in if asked, then click the button to approve. The pop-up closes and your account appears in Channels.
Good to know
- Once connected, you can write and publish posts to X (Twitter) from Sosyabot.
- The connection can expire over time. If it stops working, just connect again.
If it doesn't connect
- If the pop-up was blocked, allow pop-ups for Sosyabot and try again.
- Make sure you finished by clicking the approve button in the pop-up.
- If your account shows it needs to reconnect, click Connect and approve once more.
